The Machinism Dome is a geodesic dome structure that is used by machinism.org for outdoor performances. It is a so-called "two-frequency" dome, which means that it is made of two different strut sizes. The Machinism Dome was first erected for the Burning Man 2002 appearance of machinism.org to protect the dancefloor from dust and sunlight.
The dome measures about 32 ft (10.5 m) in diameter and is 17 ft (5.5 m) tall.
